I felt like a HOT MESS. I just wasn’t feeling motivated to take care of myself. Lori helped me to realize that when bad stuff comes up, I don’t treat myself well. Being Comfortable Saying No and Reducing Worry

I felt stressed, anxious, and overwhelmed. I feared disappointing people if I said “no” to them. I felt like my worth was based on being perfect and always being able to do more or to help others.

Lori helped me tune into which activities give me energy and which activities drain energy. She asked me to define my priorities and to use them as an added layer of intentionality when deciding which activities to say “yes” or “no” to. I have really learned from Lori that it is counter-productive to say “yes” to activities I really don’t want to do or that will tighten up my schedule. It just means that I am saying “no” to myself and my family.

I feel like I am back to my old self – a whole different person than when I reached out to Lori for coaching. I was constantly doing for others. Anytime I tried to dial in on my own needs, I felt bad. I felt like I was trapped by my own actions. I was so tired of dieting and feeling deprived all the time. I was eating for comfort and eating poorly in social situations, and I struggled to make any lasting changes. I was ~ 20 pounds overweight and had a loss of self-esteem. At age 73, I had concerns about losing mobility, cognition, and connection as I aged. I wanted to be able to say, “I can still do it!”

The things I am most proud of are taking personal responsibility and action to prepare healthier foods. I added some new workouts to my established water aerobics routine. These changes have me feeling so good! I feel steady, grounded, and empowered.

Before coaching with Lori, I was feeling low energy, irritable, and obsessed with thoughts of food. I was 25 lbs. overweight. I had joint pain and GI distress. Lori and I focused on my mindset and my relationship with food first. I have realized the importance of the quality of the food I am putting in my body. After this mindset shift, I decided to try an elimination diet with Lori to see what foods were making me feel bad and hindering my weight loss. I immediately noticed a difference. Educating Myself to Live a Healthy Life with Less Worry

There were so many unknowns about my health. I was struggling with some gut issues. I didn’t fully understand what a quality diet was. I was worried about a family history of disease after some worrisome health test results. I was feeling stressed.

Being Completely Authentic and Increasing Productivity

Before coaching with Lori, I couldn’t stick to a schedule that would keep me healthy and productive. I wanted to create a system or framework that I could use to help me get into a good routine.
